Sin 6 - Sloth

Being Lazy is a sin..... Period.

I am not particularly lazy but given a choice between Law & Order (all the series) & any other activity that requires physical activity, go figure what I'd pick.

It's not really that bad you know, I do like a clean house, a warm kitchen & a great work out but every now & then (Now more than then) I like my time off.

I love it when Lil boy is zzz & I have the laptop to myself, watching thrillers & beating myself up for not becoming a forensic detective.

So, my theory is that Sloth or Laziness or apathy to activity is not a sin, oh no no nooooooo.
On the contrary, it rejuvenates one's body, mind & soul for the upcoming bulletin.

Be it a (pleasant smelling) cinnamon spill or a (stinky) burp that becomes a full fledged (nasty unbearable yet got to clean) retch.

The package

Just the other Sunday morning, I cleaned up the entire house...really super cleaned it before B & little boy could get back from the park.
Then the day continued with not many messy incidents!

Later while his noon nap, I was talking about the week to come, B was wallowing for the weekend went zoom (& I rolled my eyes) and when I walked into the kitchen to make tea, my feet felt dirty, the floor sticky.

I then realize I've had this sticky feel almost everyday, despite all the brooming & mopping.
I ask B, "Hey...feel the floor, is it sticky?"
He looks at me deep & long, makes that face where he's seriously thinking & says "But the house is so clean"
Me :"Oh God, B I will not pounce, tell me is it?"
B   :"Ok, I've felt this stickiness for a while now....no idea what it is"
Me :"I know, I have tried 3 different mops"

Both : "???????????"

Both : "Sunny"

Ah yes, a child comes with this HUMUNGOUS package....messy, sticky floor is just one of the perks we have come to terms with.

To pose is not my thing!

Almost every other day, I try to record precious or silly moments of my lil monster so we can cherish or maybe even win $10,000 on AFV :-p and put aside some for his future (you know for therapy, for being raised by ME) and I of course try to put my face in there sometimes ;-)

But the problem here is I want me to look good, I mean ravishing hair, ravishing skin and body, ravishing clothes so it's easy to say this is an impossible task!

On the other hand, if I do manage to qualify for all the ravishingness I impose upon my "Crappy dressed unless needed otherwise" self, I am so obsessed with my ravishing (last time I promise)
looks that I make the whole clip a modelling expedition, you know posing in the right angle, fake smile, weird eyes etc....poor monster of mine!

I'm happy :-) yes I like what I've had this far & will make sure it stay just fine:-)
